How to Dad shows us how to get a baby to clean the house

Everyone’s favourite Kiwi tradie (okay, maybe he’s just my favourite Kiwi tradie), is back with another excellent instructional video. And this time he tackles the housework with baby in tow.

For any parent who hates housework (but doesn’t mind watching a good-looking dad boss his adorable daughter around), then this one is definitely for you!

Kids can be a handful, but they can also be excellent helpers. Just ask Jordan Watson, or How to Dad, the Kiwi father who has discovered how to get the housework done by using one main cleaning accessory – his kid. And his easy-to-follow instructional video will give you all the guidance you need to try it at home.

Jordan’s frank but effective commands (similar to training a dog) appear to work wonders with his daughter, as she obeys her father’s every whim.

She masters the fine art of washing dishes and taking the rubbish out. While her leaf raking skills may need some work (and the assistance of her father who is a landscaper by trade), she puts in a valiant effort at vacuuming the carpet and hanging out the clothes.

In fact, she does a pretty decent job with all the chores except one – cleaning the toilet, which she blatantly refuses to do before lying on the floor in protest. The little girl is a natural in front of the camera, as is her dad and the chemistry between the two is sweet to say the least.

This isn’t the first time How to Dad has tackled the fine art of parenting with adorable instructional videos. He’s mastered some pretty awesome moves including how to put a baby to sleep, how to hold a baby, how to make a baby fetch you a beverage from the fridge and how to show off to other dads.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is parenting done right.
