It’s a delight to find beautiful baby wares that are bold and bright, and nothing like we’ve seen before.
I have a deep-seated hatred for bibs, so much so that my second-born has never worn one (much to the detriment of many pale tops). But when bibs look as sunny and graphically resplendent as those from Kambamboo – well, I can make an exception. This fresh new label is based in Byron Bay, and takes graphic inspiration for its baby goods from the beauty of bamboo.
It makes a striking print, in each of the three colours available: the soothing Still Water, delightful Dahlia and orange-based Bright Marigold. The bibs are backed with French-style terry towelling hemp, as are the blankets, making them soft and absorbent.
The children’s pillows feature a cheeky hand printed kookaburra, in colours to match the rest of the range.
And I love these baby bundles, which house a blanket, bib and pillow in a matching and handy bag. The bundles are $235. Each blanket is $110, the bibs are $35 and the pillows $39. Order directly through Kambamboo.
