Christmas with Victorian Opera – 18 December

Here’s a Christmas event for those in Victoria looking for something a little different to do with the family! Victorian Opera are hosting the first ever Christmas with Victorian Opera event – a night of traditional festivities for young and old at the Arts Centre, Melbourne.

Hear the Christmas story told by Spicks and Specks comedian Alan Brough, including the journey of Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem and the birth of Jesus with stories about the shepherds and the Wise Men, in an evening interspersed with best loved Christmas music.

Sing along to all your favourite Christmas carols from O Come All Ye Faithful, Silent Night and The First Noel to The Night Before Christmas and Away in a Manger, accompanied by the Victorian Opera Chorus and special guest artists.

Family tickets are $100 for two adults and two children under 18 years. Otherwise it’s $36 per adult, $31 for seniors and $20 for children and concession tickets. Buy through the Arts Centre online and attend the event at 100 St Kilda Rd, Melbourne.
