There’s no denying that onesies are a great invention. They offer an easy way to dress and undress bub and keep your little one snug as a bug. One father was so impressed with the benefits of his newborn son’s onesie that he told his wife all about it.
Only problem was, he had the thing on upside down.
It could happen to anyone – we all make mistakes with our kids and sometimes we manage to screw up even the simplest of tasks.
When it happened to Nick Davies, his wife, Gemma Louise, snapped a picture and posted it on Facebook. In a few short months the post has been liked over 120,000 times and shared over 16,000 times.
My husband got our ten week old baby dressed for bed- I came downstairs to find him dressed like this! My husband said…
Obviously this isn’t the first time a parent has had a dressing dilemma. After all, we’ve all put bub’s shorts on inside out or placed a nappy on backwards in our sleep-deprived state.
What makes this story so cute is that Nick stands by his method. And why not? The proud dad’s innovative dressing technique does kind of make sense.
Nick innocently comments to his wife how he loves the style of the outfit with “‘added scratch mitts” as well as “easy access for nappy changing”.
Lenny looks pretty comfortable with his arms in the foot holes and his nappy sticking out the head hole.
Perhaps Nick is on to something here…
