A masterchef of a different kind, we present to you a kitchen specialising in all things on a small side. And by small scale I mean teeny tiny. You really need to see what may well be the world’s most tiniest cake, made with the most miniscule of tools, all in a miniature toy kitchen no less – it leaves no doubt, the Miniature Space kitchen does rule!
The strawberry cake is made with the utmost precision that’s mesmerising to watch (though the storage of the strawberry did make me laugh). While use of serving platters, bowls, spatulas and ladles is nothing out of the ordinary when decorating a cake, in this instance it’s all done with two seemingly giant fingers in a kitchen fit for a Sylvanian Family.
The fun doesn’t stop with cake decorating either. Miniature Space also whips up other delicious morsels of fried shrimp, sushi, cheese fondue and even pancakes. It’s clearly evident the Japanese are very clever, add to that a tablespoon of quirkiness for fun. And while the Miniature Space menu is unlikely to satisfy any appetite, at least the kitchen clean up is a cinch!
