Bubble London January 2012 – we bring you the fashion highlights – Part Two

We’re back to give you a second serve of the best of Bubble London and we think you’ll agree our correspondent Rachael Clark has done an amazing job of sniffing out the very best finds. On with the job then!

One of the most memorable and original exhibitors at Bubble, Ocky Olly (top) has designed the smocka. Designed for little explorers who like to collect things (and for mums who have pockets full of muddy stones after a walk) the smocka is an oversized water-repellent top with a waterproof pocket that is perfect for filling with little treasures on a day out exploring.

Babyology couldn’t cover Bubble without looking up one of our favourite brands from last year’s event – Poppy (above and below). Poppy make lovely simple cotton dresses for little girls and each dress comes with its own storybook. This year’s collection is based on the Olympics, with dresses featuring different ways to get around London – from buses to giraffes! Poppy has also launched their womenswear collection featuring the same beautiful prints and colours so now you too can join in the fun.

Each top and tee in the Red Urchin collection comes with a urchin tattoo set and character buttons. Bright and colourful and made in pure super-soft organic cotton with no itchy labels, parents and children will adore the stylish graphic patterns!

Weasel and Stoat is a very British brand as you can tell by its name (cockney rhyming slang for coat). The all British-made range uses the best fake fur from Paris, real mother-of-pearl buttons and silk for luxury wearable fashion for little ones.

For little gentlemen the collection from Andy & Evan (above and below) is the cutest ensemble of ‘shirtzies’ (onesies but with shirt tops of course!) and pre-tied and permanently knotted ties with adjustable clasp. Looking like a little gentlemen has never been so easy!

Venettini is a shoe brand, which has been around for twenty-two years but made its first steps into the UK market at this year’s Bubble. Venettini shoes have been worn by celebrity feet including Suri Cruise, Kingston Rossdale and Mason Kardashian. There are no Australian stockists yet but ‘Like’ them on Facebook and you might get lucky on one of their many shoe giveaways – although it might take a while to match Suri’s shoe collection.

Babyology and Gwen Stefani favourite, NY-based brand Hank & Jojo bought their unique quirky retro style to Bubble with tins of funky underpants, hair bows and retro tube socks. We love!

A big congratulations to Pili Pala Childrenswear, who won the Best Stand award! We love the children’s paintings on the wall; that is one bright and beautiful stand!
