Brighten up with Ninainvorm ceramics and prints

There’s something about the Australian summer with its heat and glare that always makes me want to redecorate. I want to freshen up my environment and brighten my surroundings, so that inside my home feels as crisp and clean as it does outside. And I think I may have found an affordable way to do it!

Nina van de Goor is a Dutch designer whose Etsy shop is home to a host of beautiful screenprints and vintage ceramics. Most of her designs would look great anywhere in the house but I particularly like her alphabet prints and bird prints for a child’s room or playroom and I can’t help but think of all the trinkets (or lollies!) I could store in her beautiful apple jar.

She has a large range of teapots, jugs and plates as well, so after you have brightened up the kids’ rooms you can move on to the kitchen!

Prints start from around US$22 and ceramics  from US$36. Postage from the Netherlands looks to be a bit pricey but without a doubt these are the kind of pieces you will still love next time the urge to redecorate hits.
