I’m sure I’ve made it well known on Babyology that I’m a shoe girl, as is my daughter. I don’t think either one of us could go past the new groovy Bobux I-Walk soft leather cowboy boots, pictured below. The boots have the obligatory cowboy flair but have been softened for little ones’ precious feet and will be perfect for cold days.
Bobux have been at the forefront of baby and toddler shoe design for more than eighteen years. Starting off small in New Zealand, word spread like wildfire and the shoes began selling out in record time. Created when footwear for little ones came with hard soles and laces, Bobux founders Chris and Colleen Bennett devised a soft sole leather shoe for the most important little toes in our lives. Quality and innovation have remained strong throughout the years, with only eco-leather used in their shoes so it’s safer for the environment and for babies who tend to stick them in their mouths. Bobux also feature the ‘Elastomatic’ ankle support system to keep shoes in place while being extra comfortable against newborn skin.
The range is massive and includes original soft sole shoes for babies and their newest addition, ‘I-Walk.’ I-Walk are specially designed for walkers and have a non-slip soft rubber sole for the outdoors. Just like the infant booties, I-Walk boots and shoes allow for the natural movement of the child’s foot and internal foot support to help with first time walkers.
Head to ecobabe to purchase. Prices start at $32 for infant shoes and $60 for the I-Walk range plus postage.
