Black Friday and Cyber Monday

Both are relatively unknown here, but the biggest shopping day in the United States and the biggest online shopping day in the United States are coming up this week. Black Friday is the day after the Thanksgiving holiday, this year falling on Friday the 28, and many people take the day off work, to make a long weekend. That, combined with the gift-giving season has made it a huge shopping day. Many reatailers have sales running, including up to 60% off at Amazon.

The theory behind Cyber Monday is that when people return to work on the Monday, they buy online the things they coulnd’t pick up from brick and mortar stores over the weekend.

It might be just the time to pick up that extravagant American product you haven’t been able to justify. Check out the official Black Friday website for details.
