If instilling a love for vintage motorbikes in your children is high on your priority list, you might just love this Bike Horse Rocker by Berlin designer Felix Gotze. Some may think giving children a taste for fast vehicles is foolhardy, but no-one can deny the opportunity for imaginative adventures on this marvellous piece of machinery.
Fashioned from the parts of old German motorbikes, the rocker would even make a great art piece for motorbike afficionados. It comes equipped with an old but polished up two-stroke engine, a retro headlight and a sprung seat.
The creation came about when Felix noticed three-year-old Otto Komei staring at the bike workshop across the road from his bedroom window. Most of use remember those days of wishing desperately to be bigger so we could drive cars and ride motorbikes, so Felix decided to build the kid his very own age-appropriate motorbike. Sure is purdy.
There isn’t a website as yet, or any word on production, but you can email Felix at firstname.lastname@example.org
