The best children’s parties of 2015

Birthday parties, baptisms and baby showers are full of fun and surprises. We love a good party and it seems you do too, sharing the joy and excitement of your celebrations with us throughout the year. So we’ll take a look back as we count down the top parties of 2015 to provide lots of inspiration for all the parties we can plan for next year!

8. Alexander’s rustic Turbo fiesta

Showing that you can throw a luxe party for less was demonstrated in this beautifully rustic Mexican party for Alexander. The theme was inspired by Alexander’s love for the film Turbo and includes some great party hacks with gorgeous results.

7. Jade’s vintage Hello Kitty birthday

Jade’s second birthday party was styled by her mum, who had a ball designing the dessert table, which has a fantastic mix of old-world charm and kawaii kitsch. Vintage milk bottles adorned with paper doilies and Hello Kitty’s signature bow were some of the creative flourishes, appreciated by guests young and old.

6. Sarah’s sugar-coated baby shower

Delightful treats and super fun party games abound at Sarah’s delicious event. Awaiting the birth of her baby boy, the party planning started with a mood board, including a colour palette and a list of Sarah’s favourite vendors and products.

5. Joshua’s star-studded baptism

This beautiful baptism was superbly styled around a very sweet theme – the song sung to the guest of honour by his older sisters when he was a newborn. Twinkle, twinkle little star came to life with a sparkling blue backdrop and dainty treats.

4. Audrey’s rainbow birthday

Another of your favourites this year was the adorable rainbow birthday for Audrey, 3.  It was a sweet-tooth’s dream and included a candy and ice-cream buffet as well as a surprise performance from some very special guests!

3. Will’s fire truck birthday

Despite appearances, Will’s party was easy to put together – a bit of DIY cardboard flames, some fun invites and printables, some bright and cheery fabric – and presto, one fire engine party sure to wow the kinder set. Tissue paper streamers, firefighter helmets and red lollies and layered flame jellies ensured it was a flame-filled firey party to top them all.

2. Jasmine’s Frozen birthday

With the film a box office smash, it’s no surprise that many children dream of having a Frozen-themed birthday party. For one little girl Jasmine, her seventh birthday was a blue-hued dream come true. Glittery decorations and frosted treats and a towering cake were just some of the special touches.

1. Zoe’s pony party

Four-year-old Zoe is a big My Little Pony fan, so there was really no other choice for her birthday. Her family had a grand vision for the celebration, and the event stylists from Styled By Belle certainly brought it to life. Carousel tables and delightful desserts made this pastel pony party your favourite for 2015, and one the birthday girl is unlikely to forget.
