Behold the freaky unicorns at Behati Prinsloo and Adam Levine’s toddler party

Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo with baby Dusty

Model Behati Prinsloo and her musician husband Adam Levine’s daughter Dusty turned one this week. She celebrated the occasion with a small herd of nightmarish unicorns, possibly signalling years of therapy are ahead.

The very lumpy unicorn

Is it just us? Maybe it’s just us? These unicorns are so squinty and lumpy and stare-y, we’re trying very, very hard not to look at them as we write this piece. Behati seemed less freaked out. Maybe.

“We made it once around the sun….☀️ @adamlevine,” she captioned the shot of her and Adam surrounded by balloons.

“Not sure who enjoyed these wise old unicorns more, me or the kids,” she continued and the inclusion of the word “wise” makes us think that she too looked at these mythical creatures reimagined in latex and wondered what the heck was even going on.

As you can see from the bump-capturing pic, Behati and Adam are expecting their second child – we think early next year. Perhaps the haze of babes has made them much more accepting of unorthodox balloon art? That could be a new thing. Or maybe they blew some of them up, and are feeling light-headed?

ROUND 2…..

A post shared by Behati Prinsloo Levine (@behatiprinsloo) on

“Creepy though”

We had to trawl darn hard through the comments, but it seems a few of Behati’s followers shared our unicorn worries.

“Those unicorn balloons look creepy though,” one person wrote.

Okay, we admit it, that’s the only anti-unicorn comment we could find. Just that one person.

Most people really loved the balloon unicorns and waxed lyrical about their beauty. 362 000 of them, in fact. We’re thinking a) it’s some kind of Stockholm syndrome and followers are bewitched by this attractive couple and love everything they do or b) we don’t know what we’re talking about and should go straight to the naughty step.

Okay it’s probably the latter.

Also worth noting that Behati is all about rounds at the moment. Cases in point:

Round the sun

Round two!

Round balloons.

Round belly.

This could be contributing to her balloon acceptance too…

What do you think about these unicorns? The stuff nightmares are made of? Or a thing of beauty?!
