Babies show off their “poo faces” in unique ad campaign

It’s a look all parents know (and fear) – the faraway stare and scrunched up face that suggests you are about to be summoned to tackle a mess in the nappy department. This unique video captures the “poo faces” of 10 babies in super-slow motion as they deliver their number twos. Any look familiar?

The 75-second video from American nappy brand Pampers, which premiered last week, is appropriately set to Strauss’ Thus Spake Zarathustra. You’ll recognise the popular song from many ad campaigns in the past as well as Stanley’ Kubrick’s A Space Odyssey, but, we have to admit, the music certainly captures the epic events that appear to be occurring in this video.

This recent Pooface video is part of a Don’t fear the mess! marketing campaign to promote Pampers’ range of baby wipes.

From wide eyes and opened mouths to a variety of facial contortions through the push and release process, Pampers certainly highlights the situation in all its glory.

It’s a good thing we can’t smell commercials.
