If you have never heard of Mathilda’s Market, you are in for a treat this weekend.
For the finest handcrafted and original baby and kids goods around visit Mathilda’s Market. No need to queue in the big Shopping Centres to buy what everyone else is buying this Christmas. Buy a unique item from a unique Australian artist/designer; most of whom are Mum-trepreneurs who have turned their back on corporate careers and opened their mind to creating beautiful things.
Mathilda’s Market was launched in November 2007 in Melbourne to showcase original, funky and fun baby and children’s wares. We have been overwhelmed with interest – both from shoppers and designers – which prompted us to take this concept to Sydney, Brisbane and Perth. Originally planned as an annual or bi-annual Market, demand has been so strong that Mathilda’s Market will now be held three times a year.
Find 50 to 70 artists, designers and small retailers at Mathilda’s Market. Entry is free and we offer kids entertainment and yummy food as well. I’ll be at the Sydney market and I hope to see you there.
