Atticus & Gilda – beautiful children’s pyjamas for beautiful dreamers

Atticus and Gilda kids cream

Ribbons and mandarin collars and ruffles, oh my! These beautiful pyjamas and nightgowns by UK designers, Atticus & Gilda, will guarantee that your kid is the cutest kid at the slumber party.

Atticus and Gilda kids tea party

It’s no coincidence that Atticus & Gilda‘s nightwear collection has us humming tunes from The Sound of Music. The two founders are bona fide theatre pros, having worked in costume design and styling before starting their own label. The collection is inspired by the theatre, and the trimmings were gathered during the founders’ careers, so each piece holds a bit of theatre history.

Atticus and Gilda boy blue

Don’t be fooled by the simplicity of the boys collection (£43-£45); these Chinese-style pyjamas are little works of art with their contrasting piping, and cotton eyelet buttons. There are three colours to choose from: cream, pale blue or sky blue. Sometimes a bit of minimalism is just the thing.

Atticus and Gilda girl pink

The range for girls has a lot more variety, like gorgeous floral kimonos (£38), cotton poplin bloomers and matching tops trimmed with bows (£45), and pretty little ruffled nightgowns (£47). Girls’ items come in baby pink and coral as well as cream and blue, perfectly complementing the boys’ pyjamas.

From the delicate details like the carefully pin-tucked bodices of the nightgowns and mother-of-pearl buttons, anyone can tell that quality workmanship is paramount with this brand. It’s only natural that they would use quality fabrics too; all the pieces in the collection are made of cotton poplin and linen, with trimmings of silk.

Atticus & Gilda ships internationally for £12.
