Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo expecting a girl – and Ellen wants to name her
Maroon 5 singer Adam and model Behati are expecting a little sister for one-year-old daughter Dusty Rose, and it looks like they’re not stopping at two!
“She’s awesome”
Adam appeared on The Ellen Show Tuesday, and Ellen was very, very keen to find out more about the latest addition to the Levine-Prinsloo gang – and hopefully name the incoming baby!
“I am having another baby,” Adam chuckled happily.
When asked about Behati’s pregnancy health, Adam agreed that she was ridiculously well and handing it all like a pro.
“She’s awesome. She’s like a champion of the world. She’s killing it. You wouldn’t know she was seven months pregnant. God bless her.”
Say my name
“And Dusty Rose,” Ellen says “who I am sure everyone knows by now that I named your first child. She’s adorable. She’s like a little zen baby. She’s so quiet.”
“Which is funny,” Adam mused, “because her parents are like maniacs. She kind of calms us down. She looks at you and is like ‘Okay. Just relax.'”
“So, because I named Dusty Rose, because of colours like that – [points at vase of flowers] – I saw a rose and I thought of Rose and then I heard the name Dusty and I thought ‘that’s a beautiful name’. And I sent it to you. And you were like ‘that’s the name’.”
Hey, girl!
He told Ellen they were very excited to be expecting a second daughter.
“It is a girl. We are having another girl,” he revealed.
“And I’ll name it,” Ellen said.
“It’ll be a collaborative effort,” Adam hedged.
She’s apparently sent the couple a list of potential baby names.
“I want a lot”
The singer confirmed that more children would hopefully be on the cards, down the track.
“I want a lot. I thrive in chaos. We love it,” Adam admitted.
“[Behati] was an only child,” he added. “So she wants like 100 babies. But I don’t know if I could do that.”
“That’d be great if y’all really had a hundred, that’d be crazy,” Ellen urged.
Behati confirmed that caring for Dusty and growing their family was currently front and centre for the pair.
“I think for both of us, we’re just so obsessed with being a family and having a family,” Behati told People Magazine. “He’s such an incredible dad, and so excited to see her grow up. It’s so awesome.”
Adam and Behati started dating in 2012, then married in 2014 – in Los Cabos, Mexico. They welcomed baby Dusty, in September 2016.
