ABC Kids Expo Las Vegas

This week in Las Vegas was the ABC Kids Expo, which is the premier juvenile products speciality show in America. There were over 800 exhibitors and we are going to mention a few of the new products launched. The show finished today and here are some of the new items that captured my attention:

Bugaboo accessories by Paul Frank

Bugaboo didn’t have many new products except seat inlays, foot muffs and blankets for their strollers all designed by Paul Frank. The special edition Paul Frank items will be available beginning
of 2009, and will cost US$129 for the seat inlays, U$159 for the foot muff and US$49.95 for the blanket. They’re not available on the web site yet, but you can check out what’s currently out from Bugaboo at Bugaboo.com.

Monte Tavo High Chair

Monte Design showcased their new Tavo highchair. Made in Canada from bonded leather with a maple hardwood base and no tray, it just slides up to or under the table. Priced at US$345.
Juicy Couture and Spitfire Maclaren Strollers

Two new prams announced at ABC this year were the Juicy Couture and the new Maclaren Spitfire.

The Juicy Couture Buggy has custom textiles and covers and will be available for 3 months exclusively at Neiman Marcus. The buggy will retail for US$450 and the foot muff (also
pictured) will retail for US$120.

The Spitfire is an homage to the classic British WWII fighter plane. It has a camouflaged seat cover that is reversible to a pink and green plaid
design (for the little girls) and has that sweet Spitfire target on the canopy. It will retail for US$350.

Neither are available on the web sites yet (Maclaren or Neiman Marcus.com) but you can still check out the Maclaren web site.

Bloom Dina Folding High Chair

We are already a huge fan of the Bloom range and they had a lot of new items on dsplay but one that really stands out is the new little folding highchair called “Dina.”

The Dina has a built-in tray so it isn’t for sitting table-side, but the cool thing about it is that it folds up completely flat, to a form factor of about two inches wide. It folds even with the seat cover (sold separately).

The Dina High Chair is not available in stores now but will retail for around US$300 for the chair and US$40 for the pad. It’s not up on their web site now, but you can still check out BloomBaby.com.
