A world of cool at Kikkerland

I am quite certain that there are some stores where all products must meet a cool criterion. That’s why you want one of everything when you browse through the virtual shelves of shops such as Muji, Barnvanligt and Whippet Grey. Add another to your list – Kikkerland is bursting with cool, gadgety pieces.

So what makes it onto the Kikkerland shelves? Things that turn the everyday into fun, things that are clever, intriguing and original and things that combine form, function and delight in equal parts. Why have an ordinary clock when you can choose from one of Kikkerland’s eighteen unique designs including a ‘deconstructed cuckoo’, a clock that runs on hydro power or the fabulous ultra-flat multi-coloured wall clock (shown above).

There are also four-metre-long panoramic wall stickers to liven up playroom walls, super bamboo torches, cool eco-friendly cork boards in animal shapes, spectacular rainbow makers, nifty photo holders and a fantastic mobile that you can add photos or postcards to – perfect for the nursery! There is also a whole section on games (I like the sleekly designed Retro Travel Games) and a section on wind-up toys featuring characters so kooky you’ll want to collect them all.

Kikkerland products are available at a range of online retailers. In Australia, browse the collection at Greenhouse or take a look at Kikkerland pieces we have reviewed before.
