A little geography for dinner

Fancy eating your spaghetti off Italy? Your bratwurst off Germany? Your pommes frites off France? Or perhaps you can hold a quick geography test before dessert and quiz the kids on the route of the Danube or the countries that border Liechtenstein.

Combine dinner and a European geography lesson with unique disposable paper placemats from Kikkerland. Each set contains 54 maps of European countries circa 1901. Printed on heavyweight stock, the maps can also be used for craft activities if you feel they are too good to drop Bolognese sauce on.

Each set costs US$18. Kikkerland does not ship to Australia so you will have to shop via your friendly freight forwarder.

Katrina Whelen

Katrina studied planning and design, did the hard yards working in a big office building and then traded it all in for a relaxing (!) life at home with four children. She now fills her time with writing, completing a degree in genetics and taxiing her children around Melbourne to their various sporting commitments (not necessarily in that order).
