A buying trend sprouts

What does a Bloom highchair, a pair of the hippest gumboots from New York’s Toobydoo and a Plan Toys percussion set have in common?

Answer – they’re all products that are available through the group buying scheme at CrowdSprout. Never heard of ‘group buying’? Basically, customers interested in the same item team up to get a better price or ‘group discount’. We all know about the benefits of buying in bulk, but buying lots of toilet rolls or kilos of washing powder is hardly fun compared to banding together with other parents for big discounts on nursery and children’s desirables.

At CrowdSprout, shoppers join buying groups interested in particular items. If there are enough in the buying group, you get  what you were after at the merchant’s reduced price.

There are lots of items listed, from linen and baby loungers to car seats and clothing. Prices are quoted in US$ and it is the responsibility of the customer to contact individual merchants to check shipping details. So, whilst you may not be able to participate in a group buy for a bargain Oeuf Cot, those cool brown Toobydoo boots could be all yours!
