News just in, via John and Chrissy’s daughter Luna – the Legends are expecting a much-hoped-for second baby! Hurrah!
Chrissy just uploaded a video to Instagram and it features one-year-old Luna stroking her mum’s belly and chatting about some very exciting news.
“Luna! What’s in here?” Chrissy asks.
“Baby! Bae!” Luna coos, patting her mum’s tummy.
“Is it a baby?” Chrissy asks, from under her cosy blanket.
The clip – hilariously captioned “it’s Johns!” – then loops back to the start.
We’ve been expecting this news for a while, and Chrissy’s voluminous gown at the Baby2Baby Gala was almost confirmation enough. This update from Luna is no surprise at all – and in fact A DELIGHT!
John and Chrissy have been trying for a baby for the last 6 months or so, saying they’d be conceiving Luna’s sibling through IVF – the exact same way they conceived Luna.

A little while ago, Chrissy shared a pic of her impressive bump, confirming the news a little more explicitly.
“Very excited to not have to hide this anymore. Everyone I told first was like ‘uh yeah we knew thanks,’ ” she captioned the pic.
Chrissy recently spoke to InStyle about her IVF journey, explaining she wishes she’d harvested more eggs when she underwent fertility treatment several years ago.
The couple ended up with 20 embryos initially, but only three were found to be suitable for transfer.
“The first little girl didn’t work, and then the second is Luna,” Chrissy said, explaining that they had one embryo left to implant – and what she saw as one last chance.
It seems that one embryo was just enough to create the baby she and John wanted so much. And that embryo was a baby boy, so we are 99 percent sure they’ll be welcoming a little guy next year.
Since this is coming up again, I said our next baby would be a boy because that is the embryo we have left. A boy. So. Yeah.

John spoke to Cosmopolitan magazine a little while ago, about the pair’s IVF journey, saying he felt lucky to able to access fertility treatment.
“I wouldn’t say we can’t conceive naturally, but I would say that it’s enough of a challenge where it felt like we needed help. We’re lucky that we’re living in an age where we can conceive in other ways. [IVF] brought us Luna and hopefully it will bring us a few more awesome kids, too.”
“There are some who look down on people that have fertility issues and [people who] need to use IVF,” John told Newsweek. “We’re glad we had Luna the way we did, and hopefully we’ll have a few more kids through IVF. We think it’s a viable issue for people having fertility issues and encourage people that can’t have kids the old-fashioned way to do it the way we’ve done it.”
“I would wake up feeling amazing. My skin felt amazing. I was just so happy,” she said.
“We’re going to try to have a child. This is for us to try to get in the zone of ‘let’s travel, let’s be away together, let’s see our closest friends,’ and then we’re going to have to do something super hard, which is the IVF process, all over again.”
Chrissy and John were married in 2013 and the delightful Luna Simone was born in April 2016.
We can not wait to see the newest little Legend when he makes his appearance next year!
Congratulations John and Chrissy!
