"I struggle with my little girl too. Her hair is a real mix between my unruly mess and her dad's Afro. We use baby oil in her hair to soften and control it and then put it into a style to keep it as free from matts as possible. Show your daughter some pictures of plaited / braided hair and if she wants that, then it needs to be brushed first." - Jessie
