Want this amazing Star Wars bedroom, you will

Star Wars bed

A new Star Wars film is looming on the event horizon and we have found some stellar gear to deck out the bedroom of your little fan girl or boy, starting with this incredible Star Wars bed.

The Star Wars bed (above) is the stuff of which dreams are made. Designed on the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon and stamped with an official Star Wars plaque it will have your little Ewok blasting off to sleep in a galaxy far, far away.

This bed is crafted from solid hardwood and hand-painted with an excellent replica of the controls from Hans Solo’s iconic ship. Strong enough to hold a Wookie this bed will make the kids as giddy as Jar Jar Binks.

A wonderful play toy during the day, and at night you’ve got the fastest ship in the fleet going hyperdrive to a planet of sleep. At $5,459 it’s not likely we’ll all run out like a herd of banthas to grab one, but we can look and we can dream.

Something a little more realistic in price but no less excellent are these sheet sets and quilted bedding to wrap your little Ewok up snug. Whether you favour TIE fighters or X-Wings, the new films or the classic trilogy, there is a design for you.

Made with pure cotton and a 200 thread count, these bedding sets are quality yet machine washable because kids can get as messy as Jabba the Hut. The quilts are lovingly hand embroidered giving a wicked raised effect to our favourite intergalactic scenes.

Now here is something different, the Death Star as a bean bag! Who knew a galactic super weapon could be so comfy? This fun seat is a brilliant edition to any Star Wars-themed room, plus it makes a wonderful toy for dramatic play.

Sometimes it is the simple things that are the best and this thumb wrestling set is such a winner. Just pop your thumb through, strap on a light sabre and watch good and evil battle it out. Kids can recreate the scenes from their favourite films without causing a mess. This is also a great game to pack when travelling.

And speaking of travel, I just have to mention these brilliant sleeping bags. Especially the Chewbacca one, it looks so snug! Your own mini Wookie will certainly sleep with a smile on their face when curled up in these fun sleeping bags. They’re out of this world.

You can find all of these and so much more great Star Wars gear over at Pottery Barn Kids which delivers across Australia and to galaxies far, far away (actually they just deliver to Earth, but I couldn’t help myself).
