This has to be one of the best ways we’ve seen to organise children’s school bags, shoes and just about their whole little lives. And best of all, it helps foster an independence so children can look after everything they need to get them out of the door each day.

From the aptly-named Stuff Masters comes Launch Pods. They are stations that make organising children a breeze.

Launch Pods come in a few sizes, MonoPod (single unit), DuoPod (two units), TrioPod (three) and QuadPod (four). They can be left white or painted in a range of colours so each child knows which pod belongs to them, even if they can’t read.

The pods consist of

  • an upper cupboard with an adjustable shelf and soft-close hinges;
  • a magnetic whiteboard (with pen and two magnets);
  • a bag area (with two hooks that can be repositioned for hanging library bags, hats and jackets);
  • and a slide-out drawer for storing shoes, sports equipment or toys.

The Launch Pods come flat packed, but if you live in the Sydney metro area, installation is available. The Launch Pod MonoPod is $175 painted or $150 in basic white. The Launch Pod DuoPod is $340 painted or $290 in basic white. The Launch Pod TrioPod is $515 painted, white is $440. And the Launch Pod QuadPod is $680 painted or $580 in basic white.

Delivery is available across Australia, but varies depending on unit size. Contact Stuff Masters directly for delivery quotes outside the capital cities in each state.
