This isn’t just stunning wallpaper. It’s stunning wallpaper with a history. It’s intricate, intriguing and calming – just perfect for a child’s space.
I love patterns that are simple at first glance, but are so much more on closer study. This brilliant wallpaper from London-based Turner Pocock Cazalet is exactly that.
It’s a limited edition colour of a wallpaper design by Swedish manufacturer Duro, called Zoology. The classic design was first produced by Duro in 1974, created by architect Claes Kock. He used an incredible, graphic animal print design to weave a pattern across the surface print. Children will love trying to find all of the different animals.
The great thing about this limited edition colour release, called nebulus, is that it’s gender neutral, so decorating a nursery if you don’t know the sex of your baby is easy! And it’s subtle enough that you can jazz up the room later with bright accents.
The wallpaper is being produced in conjunction with Duro, which is the oldest active wallpaper manufacturer in Sweden, dating back to 1930. This is an incredible collaboration, is available from Turner Pocock Cazalet for £60 a roll, and shipping to Australia is available.
