Gather your little Elsas and your little Annas, mark 26 March on your calendar and prepare for a new bout of Frozen fever, as the all new short film debuts in Australia. Frozen Fever hits cinemas next month in front of Disney’s Cinderella, a live-action feature from the classic fairy tale. And Disney-obsessed children in your household will have a field day with this double feature surprise.
New characters. New gowns. And a new song. Frozen just got a whole lot cooler.
Check out the first trailer for Frozen Fever and keep in mind that 13 March is the premier date for American audiences. Australia Frozen fans will need to wait a little longer for the debut on 26 March 2015.
The ten minute short film is designed to complement the live-action Cinderella and focuses on a birthday party organised by Queen Elsa for Princess Anna. The story takes place in Arendale just a few months after the first movie ended. Your favourite Frozen characters will be there including Olaf, Sven and Kristoff as well as some of the other secondary characters like Oaken from the sauna and even the snow monster Elsa created.
But it gets better. Because there is also a new song in the mix created by Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez. And apparently it is just as catchy. Perhaps your children will finally be able to “let it go” and move on to a new musical obsession?
So will you be making the trip to the cinemas with your Frozen–loving children in tow?
