Blake Lively has realised what we suspect has been a lifelong dream, chatting and singing and dancing on Sesame Street alongside an adorable Muppet cast.
“Still geeking out”
The mum-of-two shared a couple of sneak behind-the-scenes peeks at her adventures with Elmo and pals, and we’ve go to say we’re kind of jealous. Not only did Blake get to wear an ultra-gorgeous rainbow ensemble, she got a hug from Big Bird and cut loose with Cookie Monster, too. (She’s wearing a Marc Jacobs rainbow knit, a Gucci skirt and Christian Louboutin heels to celebrate her Sesame Street cameo.)
Needless to say Blake – who has two daughters, three-year-old James and one-year-old Ines with actor Ryan Reynolds – was loving herself pretty sick as she was gathered into the comforting wings of a childhood hero for a special snuggle. She revealed it truly was a very big moment for her.
“Still geeking out,” Blake posted alongside a photo capturing this friendly scene. “Kids used to make fun of me in elementary school by calling me Big Bird (because I was “too tall” and had “yellow” hair). Here’s to making best buddies with the things that once hurt you.” #WiseWords

“I design my friends’ homes”
It’s not the only glimpse we’ve had in to the life of Blake, of late. She posted an update about her passion for interior design earlier in the week, saying she can’t help but fancy up her friends’ homes and that she gets inspiration from all over – even from her kids outfits. She credits her mum for this deep deco-enthusiasm.
I design my friends homes. For free. Of all the bad decisions I’ve made, this may be the most fun… Thank you to my daughters for unknowingly loaning me your clothes for “fabric” inspo, thank you @dmitriyco for the stencils that are way too fun it’s not normal, thank you bathroom for having a lose tile that I could steal for more “fabric” inspo, and thank you mom for the sleeping disorder that keeps me up all night. 🙄🦉 👩🏼💻🌜🤩

There are definitely much worse things to keep you up at night and – not gonna lie – we’re pretty impressed by Blake’s swatch-tile-mood board situation. And her Sesame Street pop-up. And her mama bear attitude. And her …
