ABC Kids Play app for preschoolers is a giggle and a hoot!

ABC KIDS Play app

When I downloaded the ABC Kids Play app I knew my daughter would be entertained, but I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the games! This sensational app is fun, educational, and just beautifully created. Exactly what you would expect from ABC Kids.

The ABC Kids Play app is designed for children aged from two to six, but my one-year-old had a lot of fun with some of the simpler games. Her favourite was hide-and-seek with Gigglasaurus where her only task was to click on the (somewhat obvious) purple dinosaur, a fun learning activity that can help develop hand-eye coordination and cognitive skills.

There is a great range of activities, from a simple game of musical chairs with the Bananas in Pyjamas to flying through the intricate world of Giggle and Hoot. Quick and simple activities for the youngsters through to open-ended creative games for older kids. But the fun continues outside the game too. Click on any aspect of the ABC Kids world in the app and it will respond with animation and sound. Trees rustle, houses toot, umbrellas unfurl, every detail is a delight.

Developed by the creators of the Play School Art Maker app and ABC Kids iView, this app will continue to grow and develop with new games added and more of those beloved ABC characters. Best of all, this app is free to download and free from advertising. There is also a section for grown ups that includes suggestions for co-play activities and PDFs to print out so the fun times can continue away from the screen.

The ABC Kids Play app is currently only available on iPad but is coming soon to Android.

She is often found riding her bike by the Yarra river with baby on back, heading for a good soy latte at the latest kid-friendly cafe. She wants to get there before it becomes cool. So Melbourne.
