Where ever I hang my hat….

I suspect there is a sign in our hallway that is visible to everyone except me. It reads ‘Dump your stuff right here!’. School bags, library bags, sports kits, hats and coats seem to land in our entrance hall and although I nag, I admit I am occasionally guilty of leaving the day’s mail right by the door.

So what to do with all this stuff and still maintain style? The Slat Rack has all the answers. It features lots of peg bits for hanging bags, coats and hats, PLUS (and this is the really clever bit) a shelf for mail, newspapers and small things.

The Slat Rack outdoes a regular hatstand because of the nifty shelf. It outdoes a hallstand because it’s compact, sleek and fits even the smallest space.

Made of powder-coated steel, Slat Racks come in four colours – green, orange, white and chocolate brown – and the retro shape adds an architectural element to your wall, particularly when used with contrasting colours (like the green and white combination pictured below).

Slat Racks are US$145 and whilst the designer Wallter does not ship directly to Australia, Wallspace (an Australian company) carry Wallter’s lines and will be happy to get the Slat Rack for your wall.
