The royal christening has launched a new wave of royal baby fever in the Babyology office – so much so that we’re all wanting to deck our own kids out in these adorable royal-themed pyjamas from Pixie Dixie. Designs include princess crowns, marching guards, gliding swans and even the iconic London bus. Or paint your own. Makes you want to head over to London and stake out Buckingham Palace for a glimpse of the royals, doesn’t it?
A British company (quite obviously), Pixie Dixie was established in 2006 and has become known for its comfortable pyjamas and iconic British designs.
The PJs are made with cotton jersey and come in a range of sizes for children aged one to 10. They’re cut generously for comfort and the quality of the fabric means they won’t shrink or fade, according to Pixie Dixie (if you wash them correctly, of course.)
As for the Paint You Own PJs, they come packaged with white pyjamas, four different coloured paints, a paint brush, instructions and some designs to inspire. Once done, the PJs need to be left overnight for the paint to dry and then your child is ready to rock (or sleep, preferably).
It’s best to purchase your PJs from Pixie Dixie direct because you’ll be able to choose from the full range. Pyjamas cost between £28 and £30, depending on the style and design. While you’re there, check out some of the cute baby gifts, including sleepsuits, baby rompers, blankets and muslins.
