Your little ones can sing, splash and look stylish in the wet with these eye-catching raincoats from UK clothing brand Milk & Biscuits.
As I write this post it is pouring with rain here in Sydney, which has made me realise the one item of clothing I don’t have in my little boy’s wardrobe is a rain coat. What perfect timing to discover these gorgeous jackets from Milk & Biscuits, a funky Anglo-Chinese clothing label for girls and boys aged two to 10 years.
Sporting a bold chevron pattern, these on-trend trenches are guaranteed to brighten up any dull day. I love that they not only look fashionable, but are designed to be fun and functional (they are fully lined with a cotton/silk mix). It comes as no surprise that the designer and founder of Milk & Biscuits, Kate Smith, has a background in clothes design, most notably for Selfridges & Converse.
These quality kid’s coats are made from canvas with a Teflon coating, which is great for shower proofing, but not for waterproofing, so think more suitable attire for drizzle not downpours.
BTW. If, like me, you love chevron – and are a sucker for clothes that match, you won’t be able to resist buying the matching chevron hat. Talk about cute.
Chevron jackets are available in red, blue and yellow, priced £45 each, and matching hats are £22.80. Check out the full range at Milk & Biscuits. International shipping available.
