Anyone who has had to buy glasses for their children will know that only too often, the kids’ range of optics on offer at your regular optometrist leaves a lot to be desired. Berlin-based Mykita are all set to change that – they’re putting style back into spectacles with their uber-stylish Mykita First collection of kids’ optical and sunglasses.
The long awaited debut children’s eyewear collection, Mykita First is flying off the shelves – and frankly we’re not surprised, for these glasses are nothing short of rad (as the young ones say. I hope.).
Designed for children aged eight and over, the Mykita First collection is perfect for tweens and includes four unisex eyeglasses and three sunglasses with funky style names including Flip, Jaguar and Sparrow. Mykita First frames look as smart as they do fun, with each style available in several colours and some even have bright temple tips for added quirk.
Children’s glasses need to be built tough and Mykita First glasses are definitely that. Frames are strong and lightweight, sealed with a rubber coating for a scratch resistant surface. Sunglasses are fitted with Zeiss lenses for maximum glare control and 100 per cent UV protection.
For stylish, top quality glasses which are as individual as the kids who wear them, check out the Mykita First collection at Mykita. Frames are priced $490 and available at selected Mykita stockists here in Australia.
