Kylie Jenner gave birth to baby Stormi back in February, and the latest episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians reveals a little more about how she felt in the weeks after her daughter’s arrival.

“My hips have just spread”

In a just-released promo for the show, Kylie’s seen sitting on the floor of her giant closet, sorting through piles of clothes as big sister Kim Kardashian looks on.

“Like nothing in my closet fits me,” Kylie tells Kim.”I’m getting rid of stuff that I feel like’s never going to fit me. Like I know I’m not going to fit into a 25 jean ever again.”

Admitting she’s still trying to get her head around her evolving body, Kylie hints the changes were a little unexpected.

“I’m just feeling a little insecure. I feel like my hips have just spread,” she tells Kim.

“To the point of no return?” Kim suggests.

“Yeah!” Kylie confirms. “My favourite jeans … they’re never gonna fit me again!”

“I know. Curves are hard,” Kim responds. “It’s just [about] figuring it out.”

Of course, hips and curves are totally par for the course after pregnancy and indeed brilliant, but that doesn’t stop the KarJenners striving for a more streamlined body shape.

“The pressure to snap back”

It’s not just internal, professional and family pressures that are bearing down on Kylie. The scrutiny from hostile social media followers is apparently also taking a bit of a toll on Kylie.

“Some people don’t get it,” she goes on to tell her sister. “Like some people are like … just body shamers.”

Kim suggests Kylie give herself a break – and allows her body time to recover from growing and pushing out a whole human being.

“I get it, but the pressure to snap back … it took me a good six to eight months,” Kim said. “Once I got there I was like ‘Okay I’m never leaving!'”

“Three pairs of shapewear”

Her other advice consisted of lots and lots and lots of pairs of Spanx.

“I will tell you this, just wear two pairs of shape wear and get out of the house,” she said firmly.

“I never cared for those things,” Kylie admitted. “Now I get it.”

“I literally would wear – I’m not joking – three pairs of shapewear just to get out of the house,” Kim continued. “And I know it’s like really early and Stormi is so little, but like you just have to roll with it. You just have to be confident, get some things that make you feel good about yourself and find your balance.”

“I agree,” Kylie said.

“Word from the wise,” Kim nodded.

“You do inspire me a lot. If Kim can do it, I can do it,” Kylie sums up.

“Kim is always judging peoples’ weight”

Commenters had lots of different things to say about this exchange …

“There are bigger issues going on in this world, than worrying about not fitting into a size 25 again,” one person suggested.

Others suggested that Kim was one of the biggest body shamers of all time (and these women’s constant vocal celebration of skinny certainly confirms this theory.)

“Kim is always judging people’s weight. I’m officially over this show. I liked it when they were normal,” another posted

Some women had different body woes after pregnancy with many wishing their curves would return.

“I wish I got to stay curvy after pregnancy,” someone else posted. “I literally went back to having no hips whatsoever. She looks great and has a great figure. There’s definitely pressure to snap back but having wider hips is a blessing for sure.”

And honestly? Regular humans should not wear 3 pairs of Spanx after they have a baby! Most women are lucky enough NOT to be in front of cameras every day on their life and do not need to adopt this kind of painful behaviour in the quest for a body that looks like it did not give birth recently.

Let the curves roam free!
