Strap up your little one’s noggin in a colourful Nutcase helmet

If kids are scooting, skating or riding a bike, a helmet is essential. And while aesthetics have nothing to do with safety, an awesome pattern like one from Nutcase doesn’t hurt.

It’s been a few years since we last wrote about Nutcase, and since then they’ve released their Gen3 Little Nutty collection of helmets for kids aged three to six.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that dinosaurs and rockets are favourite conversational topics at my house, but I’m partial to the Dino-Mite ($99.95) and Space Cadet patterns. I also love the Speed Star ($99.95) for its simple sky blue star and red stripe pattern. Highly visible and cute to boot.

Baby Nutty (for 12 month olds) and Little Nutty helmets aren’t just stylish, they’re also practical. Every safety and comfort detail has been considered, from the Anti-Pinch Magnetic buckle to the rust-free rivets. And just in case you don’t see the rainbow bright polka dots bombing down the street, all the helmets have 360 degree reflectors.

You can buy Little Nutty, Baby Nutty and all of Nutcase’s other helmets online, or if you want to try one on, they’ve got a long list of stockists all over Australia.
