MYTH 3: Food intolerances and allergies are the same thing
A true food allergy (such as coeliac disease or one resulting in anaphylaxis) will cause an immune system reaction and affect numerous organs in the body. An intolerance is less serious and generally related to digestion – such as bloating or nausea occurring if you’re wheat or lactose intolerant.
