Model Behati Prinsloo and her husband Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine are parents to two little girls, and the high-profile mum has just shared some rare details about their life together.

Behati says her daughters – two-year-old Dusty and eleven-month-old Gio are – “funny and bossy” and “cuddly and sweet” and that basically she felt like she was pregnant and postpartum forever.

“I was pregnant and then breastfeeding for so long that I was literally living in yoga pants,” she told Net-a-Porter

“But a few months ago I put them on and was like, ‘No, it’s time to put on jeans and wear a normal outfit.’ I love jeans and a T-shirt.”

Behati noted that she was fortunate enough to be able to step back from her role as a Victoria’s Secret model for a couple of years as her life shifted from angel wings to mum things.

“I got pregnant seven months after I had my first baby,” she points out. “I’ve been modelling for 15 years and when I got pregnant I didn’t want to do anything, I wanted to enjoy my time. I really liked being pregnant and not working.”

After Dusty was born, she says she pushed through postnatal depression with some difficulty. Details are a little scant, but she noted that after Gio’s birth she didn’t face the same challenges.

“When I got pregnant the second time, I just did the same thing,” Behati explained. “After my first baby, I had a little postpartum depression and it was difficult to get back into normal life.”

“After the second one everything felt so much easier; it was easier for me to workout, breastfeeding was easier,” she said.
