Our business currently covers four areas: content, digital media sales, e-commerce quarterly subscription boxes and live events. Our clients come in all shapes and sizes, from local Australian designers, to international household brands.
We are looking for an experienced Journalist to join our busy editorial team for a 6 month contract on a part time basis. In this role you will work to create authentic content for our audience of 20-45 year old women.
Working alongside both our editorial and our advertising team, you will be able to pitch content ideas, create, produce and edit content to the highest standards, and be able to negotiate tight deadlines to produce high quality content.
The successful applicant will have sound news judgement and an impeccable understanding of news and issues, especially as it relates to Australian parents and families. You will have a keen interest in lifestyle and social issues.
Reporting to the editor, in this work from home role, you will respond to breaking news as well as writing human interest features and celebrity news. Previous experience in a digital newsroom is essential and some photo editing skills are required.

The role is 15 hours per week (6 month maternity contract with possibility of extending).
