True love: Tristan Thompson speaks out about his baby with Khloé Kardashian
A month ago Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson’s first child together arrived, at the very same time allegations about Tristan’s loyalty to Khloé – and a series of possible infidelities – surfaced.
True love
Khloé had, up until then, been singing the praises of the boyfriend she obviously adored, flooding Instagram with stories and photos, documenting her pregnancy and relationship.
And then the cheating story broke, and a very pregnant Khloé went into labour and gave birth to the couple’s daughter. The little girl arrived on Thursday 12 April, weighing in at 6 pounds 13 ounces (a lick over 3 kilograms).
Media and fans have been eager to get to the bottom of what’s going on ever since, but the pair have remained silent about their relationship and its status.
Khloé has, however, sporadically popped up on her website and social media, sharing very limited details on her new mum life. The pair are yet to share photos of their one-month-old daughter.
“She’s doing good”
Tristan, who was besieged by angry Khloé fans, taking him to task on Instagram over his treatment of the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, has said little about his baby mama or his newborn daughter. Until now.
He’s just popped up on the Road Trippin podcast, telling the hosts his baby daughter was doing everything she should be.
“She’s doing good,” he confirmed. “Baby True is eating, sleeping, and s—tting. That’s all they do.”

“It changes you”
Tristan is already a dad, to 17-month-old son called Prince, with former partner Jordan Craig, and he admits he’s treating his daughter a little differently.
“I think with a girl, you’re just so much more emotionally like … With a boy, it’s just like, ‘Hey, man. You’ll be alright, man. Stop crying,’” Tristan said (confirming traditional gender stereotypes are alive and well, in his mind at least).
“With True, it’s like, ‘True, it’s gonna be OK. You know, we’re right here. Daddy’s here to feed you. It’s me! Look, yeah!’”
“It’s way different, but it’s fun, though … It changes you,” the pro basketball player summed up.
It’s not really clear what’s going on between True’s mum and dad at the moment, but they were photographed together – out to lunch with friends – for the first time since True’s birth, recently.
Mama bear
In cuter news, Khloé’s about to navigate her very first Mother’s Day as an actual mum and she plans to take it easy.
“I’ve always loved Mother’s Day and celebrating Kris Jenner, MJ and my sisters—but this year will be even more special because now I’m a mommy, too!” she told fans via her blog.
“As of now, there aren’t any special plans (that I know of, LOL). I’m really enjoying spending quality time with True and loving just hibernating with her.”
We hope she’s doing okay, and look forward to taking a peep at True, when the time is right.
