Tessa James shares cutest new photo of her baby and hubby
We’ve already confirmed that Tessa James is some kind of brilliant force of nature, having not only beaten cancer but also gone on to fall pregnant quite shortly after and resume an international modelling/acting career. ANY good news from this lovely woman is a total treat, as far as we’re concerned.
A son for Tessa and Nate
This week’s father and kiddo photo is confirmation that life is better than ever for the former Home and Away star, as she appeared to let slip that there are now two fellas in the “#bigheadboysclub”!
Last year, when Tessa revealed she was expecting her first baby with former rugby league star Nate Miles, everyone was stoked. The pair has been married for six years and had apparently been unsure as to whether she’d be able to conceive. A gorgeous bump-celebrating magazine cover helped to break the pregnancy news.

Cancer treatment
As recently as 2014, Tessa was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and decided to undergo chemo ASAP, rather than delay treatment to freeze some of her eggs (in case her fertility was affected by chemotherapy).
It seems her choice was the right one because just a couple of years later, she was pregnant! The mum-of-one described the whole process of growing a baby as a “miracle” – whether you’ve had cancer or not!
“Being pregnant is a miracle because growing a baby, it’s pretty incredible when you think about it. When you haven’t had children, and you see mums and kids everywhere, you just think that’s normal. But when it happens to you, you’re like, ‘Oh my gosh, all these women have done this? Wow,’” Tessa told Elle in 2017.
And baby makes three
Tessa gave birth back in February, after keeping much of her pregnancy away from the public eye. Since then, she’s shared the occasional shot of her baby but scant detail. This week’s post of Nate and bub was the first official confirmation that the couple is parents to a baby boy.
The couple is living in the US now, apparently hanging out with fellow Australians Lara and Sam Worthington.
