As if we are not excited enough about the Royal bub on the way, Prince Harry has just spilled that he’s already thinking about giving him or her a sibling. Yay!
Bub number two
The revelation came when Prince Harry was joking with a party guest, Falklands veteran Simon Weston, at a recent event hosted by The Queen at Buckingham Palace.
As Western was teasing the prince about England’s recent defeat in the Six Nations ruby, Harry made a cheeky comment.
“We also joked about Wales defeating England in the Six Nations rugby. I also warned him and the Duchess it serves him right as they will be getting plenty of sleepless nights when the baby is born. ‘He said if they have any more than two it will serve him right.’”
“Any more than two!”
We know that the newlywed Royals have been keen to have children ever since they announced their engagement in November 2017. Back then, they said in an interview that having a family was a priority for the ‘near future’.
Luckily, the Duchess and her prince conceived very quickly and it was just five months after their wedding that they announced the exciting news that they were expecting a baby.
But this slip of the tongue by Harry gives a little insight into what the couple may be thinking in terms of having more kids in the future.

Their Royal Highnesses see more of the vibrant Moroccan culture – joining a cooking demonstration with Chef Moha and children, who were cooking traditional dishes. Many of the children are from underprivileged backgrounds, and are part of a scheme to help open up the restaurant industry to young people. Children were also making Cherine Mallah’s Moroccan Pancakes from ‘Together: Our Community Cookbook’ – the charity cookbook, supported by The Duchess, which celebrates the power of cooking to bring communities together. #RoyalVisitMorocco #CookTogether. 📷image 2 PA / image 1 +3 @kensingtonroyal
“We are almost there”
At the same event, Duchess Meghan also joked with the Welsh Secretary Alun Cains that she looked a little different to the last time she had seen her.
As Alun congratulated her on her pregnancy, Meghan replied: “I look rather different than the last time you saw me. Yes, it’s sweet, we’re nearly there.”
The Duchess revealed a few weeks ago that the royal bub is due in April. So yes, she is ‘nearly there’!
We are so excited to meet this new little one and about the prospect of this happy couple adding to their brood in future.
But no pressure guys!
