This little girl not only submits to her dad’s creative demands, she does it with good humour – and without even a hint of side-eye.
Californian dad (and vintage furniture dealer) Sholom Ber Solomon and wife Carli are parents to a 9-month-old little girl, Zoe.
Sholom was quick to realise that being a parent has some epic rewards, for instance, dressing your baby up in hilarious outfits when they are too young to protest! Win!
So began the adventures of Zoe and Sholom, as the entire family went all in with a series of costumes and photo shoots that not only had them in stitches, but have gone on to entertain all that glimpse their genius!
Let’s face it, Zoe is the ideal subject. In every shot she seems quite happy to indulge her cute dad’s conceptual antics, submitting to a very committed range of poses, scenarios and costumes. She’s taking method acting to a new level. She’s finding the light. She knows her angles.
Carli takes the photos and the couple say each session takes around 20 minutes to complete, from go to whoa. It’s 20 minutes well spent, as far as we’re concerned, and it seems others agree:
‘The positive feedback has been across the board, from old ladies who think I should make a book to my friends and to younger people who think its just adorable,” Sholom said.
Sholom is no stranger to chortle-inducing photography. A scroll back through his Instagram to pre-baby days shows some familiarly funny shots snapped during adventures across the globe.
It would seem that the birth of his daughter produced the kind of mini-muse he never knew he needed. Zoe’s propelled Sholom’s creativity to the next-level and we’re not gonna lie, we could not love it more!
“She definitely makes all the pictures a lot cuter as without her I’m just a fat chubby guy who likes to take silly pictures. The ideas for what me and Zoe will do next is endless,” the clever dad said in a recent interview.
We will most definitely be watching this space!
