We’ve been waiting for these for a while and now they’re finally here in Australia!

These wonderful Crayon Rocks, which we’ve featured before, have arrived at Third Drawer Down and are ready to ship to you from Victoria instead of from abroad! They have long captivated us with their gorgeous colours and unconventional yet natural shape, which encourages tiny hands to employ the tripod grip necessary for later writing.

    They look awesome, and would allow the children the freedom of movement when drawing, rather than feeling forced to hold them like a grown up!

  2. I have a few sets of these, got them while in LA a few years ago before they were available here. My girls have loved them from when they were 15 months old as their fingers wrap around the crayons and they are free to draw. Such a simple but amazing concept in crayon design. We also gave out small packets of 8 crayons in a velvet pouch one year for our birthday party favours and they were a fun take home gift.
