It’s day eighteen of Prizeapalooza and we’re ramping up the fun factor – with a slice of Melbourne’s history up for grabs.
There’s everything to love about today’s prize from the cheeky folk at Monkey Caboose – it’s the most alluring form of public transport I’ve ever seen – a Make Me Iconic Melbourne toy tram, valued at $90.
Finished in the authentic colours that grace Melbourne’s W-class trams, the wooden Make Me Iconic toy tram only diverts from the original slightly, in that it has wheels to make it easily moveable. Inside are twelve wooden passengers and two conductors, who adhere to a strict timetable from their cabins at either end of the tram.
The lid of the toy tram comes off, giving easy access for little hands. Measuring a generous thirty-five centimetres, it’s a showpiece for any toy collection and is recommended for children over three years.

We would love the Melbourne tram in our family. Today we head back home to Canberra after spending a week in Melbourne on our ‘Family Honeymoon’ after getting married last weekend. Our two year old son Tom just loves the trams and he will be sad when he realizes he will be in the car for 7 hours today, and not on the tram!
My little boy would love to win this…
& it is his first birthday in 2 weeks so what perfect timing. PLEASE Babyology, give my little boy this awesome gift for his birthday…
I adore this tram. It’s a toy that would be treasured for years and become an heirloom piece My friend’s daughter has one and when we visit, it’s the first thing my 17 month old son plays with. For these reasons it would be my first choice from Monkey Caboose.
Next I chose the Sydney ferry for the same reasons and then the storage and wall organisers as they are so cute!!
Having just moved to Sydney from melbourne i’m sure Carter would love one of these icons from the city of his birth.
I’d have to include this Tram in my top 3 along with the Flatout Frankie Plane & the Seagull Ceiling Light.
1) The beautiful Melbourne Tram
2) Le Toy London bus
3) Flatout Frankie little cook oven
It’s hard to just pick a top three. The Sydney Ferry is so sweet too, but as a Melbournian I’m going with the tram!
They havE some very cool stuff, I love the flatout range, especially the plane. The le toy range is also so clever, in particular the house playmat, I haven’t seen anything like that anywhere else. And of course the iconic ferry that matches that cool tram is very special to this Sydney girl. Love it!!! Peta La Motte
My top three are most definitely the Make Me Iconic Melbourne Toy Tram (I’ve loved this forEVER!), the cheeky monkeys in the Rosemonde Et Michel Coudert Monkey Ceiling Light in blue for my boys, and speaking of them, my last pick would have to be the gorgeous Tiger Tree Gold Pearls in a Pod Necklace. Stunning! X
Tiger Tree Gold Pearls in a Pod Necklace, the Flatout Frankie Little Cook Oven and the Junior Masterchef Cake Mini Kit Age 3+!! so many amazing items on this page!
Love the tram, and then my kids would be able to recognise it when we see one! We would also love a Flatout Frankie oven, we have wanted one of these since Babyology featured them in 2011. And finally the Silver Tree necklace for me!
I’ve had my eye on this tram for ages – just can’t decide who to gift it to, my 5year old son or my 36 year old brother! So the tram would be my favourite item on the Monkey Caboose website. Second, I’d love one of the cute lunch bags (pre-historic pals!) and third, a super cute Fox Storage Bin (because you can never have enough storage!).
The handmade pudgy rattles are super super cute, living in Sydney the wooden ferry would suit and the owl three sprouts caddy would be such a hoot!
My top three are the: Uncle Goose Multicolour Bugs ABC Block Set, Le Toy Van Farm Playmat and the Wall Decors Bright Tree! I love all of these as they are unisex and will see our daughter through her early childhood and fingers crossed for our future son as well :)
I’ve loved this tram since seeing it at a design fair a few years ago. My little boy gets crazy excited when we go on a tram so he’d just love this. And what a beautiful thing to keep for future Melbournian generations of the family
The flat out Frankie aeroplane would provide hours of enjoyment (straight out of the box) and I can’t go past the Make Me Iconic Melbourne tram and Sydney Ferry. It’s so rare to toys that are iconically Australian (except fortune a stuffed kangaroo or koala). I love the quirkiness of them, plus the little Miss is a water babe and Master 1 loves anything with wheels (just don’t tell him trams don’t go vrooom!!)
1)Rosemonde Et Michel Coudert Bi-plane Ceiling Light – Blue

Aside from the tram, which is amazing, I love the Make Me Iconic Sydney Ferry & may have to invest in that one! I also adore the little mushroom-shaped baby rattle & the toy storage bin with the kangaroo on it. I love seeing great stylish Australia-centric products.
Kingsley, Marshmellow Rose and Twinkle are the three delightful handmade owls I can just imagine sitting nicely in my child’s room.
Monkey Caboose helps me play
With my ‘Melbourne toy tram’ all the day
Me and my ‘Handmade Owl – Kingsley’
Read the ‘Alphabet Print’ quickly
Before dreaming the whole night away.
1. The Sydney ferry to go with the Melbourne tram. My husband is from Melbourne before we married so to see our three kids playing with a bit of each city would be gorgeous
2. Junior Masterchef Cookie Mini Kit for my budding chef who LOVES Masterchef
3. 3 Sprouts Caddy in Pig to put all my babies soft toy collection that she loves in one spot.
We have toys galore,
my girls really don’t need anymore!
What we don’t have is any space,
some storage is a must in our place!
Monkey Caboose has it all, from the caddy to the storage bin and box,
my only problem is which to choose the owl or the fox!
Wooden Sydney Ferry, Melbourne Tram and Seagull Ceiling light so we can capture some good old fashioned Aussie wonders that we can play with whilst a crazy bird flys in the sky!
My 19 month old boisterous boy loves all things that go, so transport’s our theme! My top three are the Melbourne Tram, the Sydney Ferry and the London Bus.

The Melbourne tram becuase he loves all things that make noise (ting -ting), the London Bus to remind me of the years we spent there falling in love enough to come home and make our family with our little man and the Flat Out Frankie airplane because plane was one of his first words and he still runs outside to point everytime he hears one overhead!

“Big Red London Bus, Black Mini Cab and Sydney Ferry as Daddy is a Pommie and wants to give our half Aussie/half English bubba a taste of his beloved homeland, and the Ferry so he can remember his Aussie roots too! Multiculturalism at it’s best!”
My top 3 would have to be the London bus, iconic tram and ferry.
I am always on the lookout for toys that my transport boys would love, but that I can also take to work and use as part of trauma play therapy for children who have/are experiencing domestic violence. The Iconic Tram would be perfect for this

The cozyplush microwaveable cos as my name is Max the Moo and so I like to surround myself with that Moo!

1. 3 Sprouts Caddy – mouse
2. 3 Sprouts Storage Bin – bear
3. Melbourne Tram
Gorgeous shop!

We are only living in Australia (Melbourne) for a few years; this would be such a wonderful piece of memorabilia for our little one to take back to Canada with her. Secondly, the Esthex Denim Peter Fly Rattle is just too cute for words. Finally, we love the Haba Miniland so many places for little hands to discover the world!

My favourite 3?
Well let me see…..
Anything with wheels is a hit with my boy,
So the first i would choose is the Melbourne Tram toy.
The second would be the Wall Decors Train,
The third, for mum….a Tiger Tree Chain!
The first two I would choose is the Flatout Frankie Little Aeroplane and the Rosemonde Et Michel Coudert Bi-plane Ceiling Light in Blue. My daughter had her Commercial License and was working toward a Night Rating, when she fell pregnant. She flew into her 2nd trimester (remarking that my Grandson was active at the more stressful times: take- offs and landings) and since giving it up, she’s taken to seeking out aviation related toys and clothing. My last choice would be a Babymoov Travel Bottle Warmer. It would be more convenient instead of the big backpack or mini esky that gets lugged around.
Well I love the tram, the Flat pack oven and Haba Bingo animal games

handmade pudgy rattles
Le Toy Van Farm playmat
Le Toy Van London Bus
Not counting the fantastic tram…
I love the Toosh Coosh booster seat, smart and functional, the Le Toy Van farm playmat for all of our farm collection and for me, the tiger tree silver tree necklace! Lovely products and equally lovely to see something for mum!

So many awesome and beautiful things, but if I HAVE to choose, my top three are:

Our two year old son is OBSESSED with anything that moves and he is very adept at mimicking the various horns, beeps and honk sounds they each make. As such, his favourites from the Monkey Caboose website would have to be the Melbourne Tram, Sydney Ferry and London Bus. It would be really special to win this amazing prize…so please pick us!

OMG OMG OMG it’s the trammmmmmm!
I’ve wanted this for my baby before my baby was a twinkle in the eye. Now she’s here, I have to have it for her room (she’s 7 weeks old) as I’m from Melbourne and lived on St.Kilda road with the trams sailing past my room. I met my daughter’s father in Sydney, so a Sydney ferry would be my second favourite toy for her. A third choice would be the lunch punch critter cutters – cos they are super cute.
Love the 3 Sprouts storage bins, the Angel ceiling light and the Haba doctor case for my future surgeon!
This amazing tram is definitely one of my top picks from Monkey Caboose (I used to live in Melbourne and frequently traveled on trams so it would be a lovely reminder of those days!). I also love the London Bus and 3 Sprouts ‘Fox’ storage bin :)
The ferry would be number one in our house because my little boy adores watching them. Closely followed by the tram & the London bus – it’s all about things that go:)
