Over the course of five years, my home has become increasingly grey; from outside to inside it’s my hands-down favourite decor colour. I don’t mind if it’s a little du jour for some people – I find it a soothing neutral and a refreshing departure from white and beige. I simply think it has stepped up to take its rightful and permanent place next to the classic neutrals.
See now this perfect playhouse, dubbed the Maja Playhut from Finnish designer Minna Jones, in stylish dark grey (also available in black and white). Really it’s quite devastating it’s only available in Finland at this time but Minna does say they hope to export it in the future. I can see it under inner city terrace stairs, in rumpuses and bedrooms, under loft beds and in backyard studios. What a delightful hidey-hole space for your little one to dream within.
