We love a bit of imagination to an idea and these fabulous active toys from Bobles more than fit the bill for the wide range of uses they have in the home or outside. For the very first time Bobles has come to Australia through Exquira, showing its range at Kids Instyle Sydney. We’ve put it up there with Tulp Kids as showing some of the best design innovation. Here’s what we wrote about Bobles’ Elna the Elephant in December 2008:
Great for their imaginations, kids can invent personalities and many scenarios in which Elna may find herself in the course of a day. She’s made from compressed EVA foam and features a supremely soft surface and no corners so kidlets can play as roughly as they want to without incurring injuries. They can hone their physical skills and if Elna gets grubby, she can be washed with running water.
There are now many more shapes available including a table and stools which can also be used for roly-poly, active fun. We’re glad to see this great Danish brand here through Exquira! There’s more to come from Babyology at Kids Instyle Sydney 2011.

The Bobles are fantastic! I had an Elna sent from the US about 3 years ago and both my kids love it! It is a seat, an elephant to ride, a rocking horse (when you tip it upside down), a step to reach the light switch, a table, a place to hide things in the space between her trunk and her ears – whatever my 6yr old and 2yr old want it to be. After three years of constant use, she is a little marked, but still going strong. Highly recommended!
They look like a great product… Sadly I checked almost every state under Exquira and it doesn’t look like bObles are available after all. Not only were the store links broken on the site but when you searched for and went to the pages of the few stores listed, they didn’t stock them after all. :( any ideas, babyology, where in Australia they might be found? I have found them on a US site but shipping is steep!
