My mum hated the idea of dollhouses so much (too many small bits and pieces that could get lost/broken/swallowed), she made me my own out of an old, unused wardrobe.
I have no doubt she’d be very impressed with this foam dollhouse from Pottery Barn Kids. Priced at only US$19, the dollhouse is crafted from chlorine-free, phylate-free, environmentally friendly foam.
That all sounds great, but the biggest selling point for me is that various parts of this lightweight toy, such as the people, bedroom furniture and kitchen accessories, cling to walls and each other when wet, making them perfect toys for the bath as well.
The unfortunate thing is Pottery Barn Kids doesn’t ship internationally so you’ll either have to get a friend in the States to send it over for you, or use a reshipper. Still, at that price, it really is a steal!
