Have a feast with Bombadill pretend play food

Play food is one of those toys that evolves as the kids get older – in our house we have doughnuts that started off as rattles for wee little hands before becoming part of the tea party scene and are now a regular staple when playing ’shop keepers’.

Sweden’s Bombadill have a fabulous array of baked goods such as cinnamon scrolls and cupcakes as well as sandwiches and ice creams. You can even buy Sweden’s national cake, Princess Tårta (princess cake). With a play food collection like this, it will be high-tea for all!  Bombadill food pieces are designed by the very talented Swede Birgitta Sjöberg and made from a deliciously soft velour, perfect for small hands.

You can buy these little cullinary beauties from the Huset-Shop. Prices start at US$9 and delivery to Australia is available.
