Last month we told you about Brit-based Little Puggle. Now here’s a homegrown home-delivered craft option - Funky Elephant. It’s the work of two young mums, Barbara Grimm and Regina Delborrello who are taking the pressure out of providing imaginative, tactile craft activities for our young children.
Funky Elephant is a subscription service that sees a trunkload of craft in a box (or trunk even) delivered right to your door each month, ready for immediate play. Designed for children aged three to seven years, each box arrives complete with fun and interesting projects, craft materials, detailed instructions and motivational ideas, all providing the perfect stimulant for a young mind to learn, explore and grow.
A two-month subscription is $45.90, a six-month subscription $123.70 and twelve months $229.50 and all include free delivery to Australian homes. Siblings aren’t forgotten either, you can have extra materials added to each trunk for an additional fee of $8 per month so no one will miss out on the fun!

Hi – I love this service for 2 reasons. One, because my son LOVES getting his funky-trunk every month and is occupied for hours! The products are fabulous and the activities are just brilliant. The second reason I love it is because it makes the perfect gift! Every kid that I’ve given it to thinks I’m brilliant – and the parents are pretty happy with me too! Brilliant product, great customer service and happy kids – doesn’t get much better!
