Heather Shaw, a Toronto-based mother of two boys, is quite seriously like a breath of fresh air. Upon setting eyes on her collection for babies and children I can’t help but heave a sigh of relief. Don’t get me wrong, I love colour; but there’s something unmistakably calming about the use of linen and hemp fabrics.

You can see by the pictures here just how gorgeous Heather’s designs are. The Pocket Pillow is undoubtedly charming, oozing in simple easy style, perfect for a newborn’s nursery and fun bed addition for a toddler. For toddlers and older children there’s a magnificent Car Bingo game, with cute illustrations and tags, all held together in a cute pouch.
There’s no way I couldn’t mention the stunning bird mobile pictured here either, featuring two handmade felt birds using recycled felt, a quaint bird nest and wooden egg. How could anyone resist noticing this if you saw it hanging in a room?
The Pi’lo website is amazing and has so much on offer from quilts, mobiles, toys and party things… you can really get lost in the tranquility of it. Prices start at US$38 for the pocket pillow. Contact Heather through her Pi’lo website for information on international shipping charges for your chosen products .

I found Heather’s products a while ago and I’m smitten. I agree with all your comments. There’s something very calming about her shop and blog. I bought one of the bingo sets to try and they’re fab. Would definitely recommend :)
