Box Play for Kids – it sticks

My four-year-old daughter has a seemingly never ending capacity for box constructions. She loves nothing more than raiding the recycling to rescue egg cartons, tissue boxes and paper towel rolls.

Now kids can up-cycle the recycling with Box Play for Kids – simple stickers turn castoff cardboard into everything from a clutch purse to binoculars.

I’m certain that my daughter would find a kindred spirit in graphic designer Janette Eusebio Harwell, the talent behind Box Play for Kids. Eusebio Harwell was inspired by a combination of her two-year-old’s favourite playthings – stickers and old boxes. The result is an egg carton paint palette, a biscuit box camera, a cereal box record player and much more. I particularly like the superhero ‘bracelets’ made from cardboard tubes.

Note that the stickers are printed on recycled paper stock, so it’s all about recycling from start to end. Available directly from Box Play for Kids, prices range from US$4-$12 and stickers can be shipped internationally.
